Each of our engagements are tailored to the specific needs and means of every organization that we work with. That being said it is difficult to give a hard and fast number for each of our services. Typically, our consulting engagements start at $25,000. This number varies depending on the size, scope, and complexity of the engagement. We will work with any organization to configure an appropriate engagement. Below is a list of the services we offer during a typical engagement.
Gap Analysis Consultation
This is the foundation of most of our engagements, typically lasting around 60 days, in which the consultants at Future Point of View will evaluate your organization’s technology practices, discover the areas that need improvement, and advise you on the strategies you will need to implement. You choose from one or more of the following areas in which you would like to be evaluated.
- Digital marketing
- IT infrastructure
Through analysis of your current systems and interviews with team members, we collect findings and deliver a go-forward strategy in report and presentation form. The initial effort is focused on establishing a clear and complete picture of your current state. Once we have that in mind, we will work with you to envision your future state. This report and ensuing consultant presentation will produce a series of recommendations that will help form the basis of a two-year strategy.
Here’s exactly what you’ll receive:
Discovery Interviews – We schedule interviews with members of your team (including vendors or contractors) and ask them a series of questions designed to reveal needs/wants/problems. These interviews provide us with insight on current roles, processes, and cultural issues that are impacting the use of technology in your organization. If certain members are unavailable during the scheduled times, we can follow up later with interviews via conference call or web conferencing.
Observation & Strategy Recommendation Report – After completion of the interviews and our evaluations, we record key observations related to your use of technology. These observations are laid out clearly alongside potential business impacts they present as well as our recommendation for how they should be incorporated into your overall technology strategy. It generally takes us three to four weeks after the interview process to complete the final strategy report. This report is created with an accompanying slide deck for us to walk you through each finding. We can present these findings onsite or by web conference depending on your preference.
Online Presence Audit – This is a high-level review of the current state of your online presence. We analyze your website, online reputation, findability, social technology campaigns as well as that of your competitors. We will provide our findings as well as best practice suggestions that come from analyzing a large number of companies across several different industries. We’ve seen what works and what doesn’t. This will help show exactly where you are currently, and provide suggestions for adjusting your future strategy.
Technology Assessments – (Digital marketing & IT infrastructure only) These assessment will be taken by selected individuals within your organization to assess your strengths and weaknesses. The comprehensive assessment will give you a gap analysis of where you are in your strategy and how far away you are from your goals. This is an examination that we ask all of our clients to take at least once a year.
Education – At FPOV, we believe in the importance of education. In this aim, we provide a seat in one of our Technology Mastery Institute’s Executive Education courses. These in-depth courses are taught by FPOV experienced consultants and provide a comprehensive view into a selected area(s) of technology.
Models and Processes – To do technology well, a number of processes need to be in place. To help, we’ve developed Process Guides as step by step roadmaps for implementing specific critical processes in your organization. Included with a Discovery & Strategy Engagement you will receive a number of Process Guides along with your package.
These sessions are based on specific topics tailored to your immediate needs. These workshop-style sessions with your team will develop a detailed action plan for improving technology utilization over the next year or two. Projects and timelines are created and assigned as part of a documented roadmap.

Other clients may need help with a large and complicated project, we can provide the staffing and oversight to fill in the roles that they might not have in place. We will also provide expertise that may not currently exist on their team. We can integrate seamlessly on projects such as these to assure they are completed on time, on budget, and hit the ROI metrics stated in the beginning.
