Linda Moots

Linda Moots is a senior consultant at Future Point of View. She has decades of experience as an information systems specialist and customer service professional for various risk pool authorities. Linda is skilled in large software implementation, core process mapping, as well as working alongside non-technical users to help guide them toward success using digital tools.

Experience

Linda comes to FPOV from Michigan Municipal Risk Management Authority (MMRMA) where she was a business analyst. In this role, she worked to improve the processes at MMRMA and remove inefficiency within the organization. She was integral in developing maps for the pool’s core processes.

Prior to working at MMRMA, Linda was a project manager and consultant for Washington Cities Insurance Authority (WCIA). She helped lead an effort to implement the risk management software Origami Risk within WCIA. She acted as a liaison between WCIA and the SaaS solution while also helping to prepare end users for implementation.

Background

Linda spent nearly two decades as an information technology manager and data coordinator at Montana Municipal Interlocal Authority (MMIA). While managing the authority’s information technology department, Linda also acted as a business analyst and project manager assisting with data conversions as well as the development, testing, and deployment of new product offerings.

Linda started her career as a workers’ compensation examiner and claims bill adjudicator at Gates McDonald & Company before spending nearly a decade as a data coordinator and workers’ compensation examiner at Alexsis Risk Management/RSKCo. She currently resides in Helena, MT.
